Academic Preparation

Graduate student preparation can be an array of fields. The interdisciplinary nature of the program includes, but is not limited to under graduate degrees in biology, engineering, computer science, physics, neurosciences, cognitive psychology, chemistry and math. DYNS does not currently require GRE exam scores.

We encourage applications from students with diverse backgrounds.

Faculty Sponsors

Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact individual faculty members whose research interests align with their own early in the application process and to list potential advisors on their applications. It is very important to indicate in your Statement of Purpose which faculty member(s) you are interested in working with and to be specific about which research areas you are interested in.

Be sure to identify yourself and ask the professor if they are taking graduate students this admissions cycle. Describe your background, interests and career goals.

When Applying to Graduate School

You do not have to wait until the deadline date to submit your application. Submit your application early.
